Giving discarded textiles a second life
A new life for materials. A new skin for products. A new way of recycling. New Skin recombines hard-to-recycle mixed textile waste—primarily grey-cycle materials such as wool felt and denim fibres—into a structural, tactile new material through a wet-felting process. The project turns waste into a 'surface language,' giving products new texture and experience across applications like lighting and furniture, exploring a sustainable path where material regeneration meets design expression.
