How do babies learn to smell the world?
Smell the Forest is a university-industry collaboration with Hangzhou Tebaoer children's toy company. We identified a gap in the children's educational toy market—the untapped potential of scent training for infants aged 0–12 months, a critical window for sensory development. Smell the Forest introduces a novel, highly accepted product that resonates with a new generation of parents: through playful interaction with natural forest scents, it nurtures a baby's earliest sensory connection to the world, turning smell into a gentle tool for early learning and bonding.
