VagaKey translates auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) into a wearable, non-invasive, headphone-like system with monitoring for weight management.
Like turning a key, it is inserted and rotated until it locks into its final position. This enables clearer alignment and more stable contact, supporting precise positioning and reliable stimulation contact. The support areas and ear-canal-free wearing concept were developed using ear data, 1:1 3D scans, prototypes, and interviews, and were evaluated through user testing and medical assessment.
Haptic operation without visual control and interchangeable eartips further enhance comfort. The result is a reliable therapy routine suitable for everyday life: VagaKey does not rely on greater willpower, but on design that makes correct and regular use easier.
